For companies whose customers are new care services

A newly registered service is choosing its software, insurance, training and suppliers. The list shows you who they are while those decisions are still open.

Care software
Reach new home care agencies and care homes before they settle on a care-planning or rostering system.
Insurers and brokers
See new registrations in your territory each week, as services start operating and arrange their cover.
Training providers
Find new care teams that need mandatory training for the staff they are hiring now.
Suppliers
PPE, equipment, dental supplies, uniforms and staffing: sort new services by type and area.

What's in each row

One row per newly registered service. Coverage shows how often each field was filled across 264 rows in the September sample.

Organisations only: we leave out services registered to a named individual, and the names of managers. No contact names or personal email addresses. Coverage is from the September sample.

  1. CQC updates its register

CQC updates its public directory every week and its full register every month.

  2. We keep only what's new

We compare it with earlier weeks, keep the new registrations, remove individuals and add the company details.

  3. You get the list on Monday

By email as a CSV, or in a Google Sheet, filtered to your regions and service types if you like.

What Siftdata is, and isn't

Other services sell care-sector data too. Here's where this list fits, so you can decide quickly.

Weekly, not monthly
A new list every Monday, so you reach services in their first weeks.
A file, not a dashboard
A CSV or Google Sheet you can import straight into your CRM. No logins, no seats.
No call to buy
Prices are on this page. Pay by card and cancel by email.
No contact names
You get the service, its provider company and phone, not managers' names or emails. If you need named contacts, a contact-data provider is the better fit.

Questions

CQC's data is free. What am I paying for?

CQC's register is free, but it lists about 57,000 locations across several files. Siftdata compares each update, keeps only the newly registered services, removes individuals, adds the registration date and provider details and flags providers new to CQC. You get a short list for your area instead of a spreadsheet project.

Does a new registration always mean a new business?

No. A service can register again after a change of owner, legal entity or address. For example, in September HC-One moved 60 of its care homes to a new company, and each one appears as a new registration. The "New to CQC" column helps you spot these: it says No for existing providers and groups.

How many services will I get?

From late August to late September, about 45 new registrations a week across England, all types together, not counting one-off waves like HC-One's. By region that ranged from about 1 a week in the North East to about 8 in the South East. Ask for a free sample for your area to see the real number.

Does the backfill include services that have closed?

No. The 12-month backfill lists the services registered in the past 12 months that are still registered today. Closed services are left out, since you can't sell to them.

When does the list arrive?

Every Monday. CQC sometimes publishes its weekly directory late. When that happens, the list follows as soon as the new data is out, and we tell you.

Which areas does it cover?

England, because CQC regulates care in England. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own regulators and are not included.

Can I import it into my CRM and use it for outreach?

Yes. The list is for your own team's sales and marketing. You can't resell it or publish it. When you contact the services, the usual UK marketing rules apply to you as the sender.

Are you part of CQC?

No. Siftdata is an independent business that reuses CQC's public data under the Open Government Licence. CQC does not endorse Siftdata.

How do I cancel?

Email team@getsiftdata.com. We cancel before your next payment, and you keep the lists you've already had.

Can I see it for my area first?

Yes. Email us your company, regions and service types, and we'll send a free sample, usually the same working day.
